1.5 Billion Trees from 2011 to 2016

A massive reforestation project in the Philippines was mandated, based on Executive Order (EO) No. 26— planting of 1.5 billion trees in 1.5 million hectares of public lands from 2011 to 2016.

Yes, we’re beginning to realize the ill effects of climate change due to increasing amount of carbon emissions and decreasing number of trees and forests.
